We salvaged these remarkable pieces from an old handmade spread that we sourced from France.

They are made from 18th or early 19th century "Lyonnaise" French silk - rare and exquisite. This is lovely work and each square is unique.

They are antique and showing their age, but still beautiful and strong enough to frame and display. Our pricing reflects the condition.

• Each of these pieces is unique - the maker used different silk combinations in each one.
• A variety of silks have been incorporated, these were perhaps scraps left after clothing was made.
